Fulham boss Martin Jol has dismissed rumours that the club will attempt to sign either Darren Bent or David Beckham.
Bent looks set to leave Aston Villa in January after being continuously snubbed by new manager Paul Lambert.
Jol has been linked to a reunion with the player he brought to Tottenham when he was manager at White Hart Lane, but the Dutchman insists he already has enough forwards and is looking for a creative player.
“I signed him at Tottenham because if you saw him at Charlton he scored almost one every two games, so I thought he’s a quality finisher,” Jol said in the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle.
“You never know, but we’ve got three good strikers.”

You can always trust gruff Dutchman Martin Jol to speak his mind.
Swiftly bypassing talk of a possible move for David Beckham, correctly stating that the midfielder is too old to consider bringing to Craven Cottage, explaining,
“We want to try and get a younger team,” said the Dutchman.
“On average, we are the oldest team in the Premier League and it would be crazy to get players like David Beckham for Alex Kacaniklic, Kerim Frei and Pajtim Kasami.
“He’s an unbelievable player and he’s good to have around, but for us it’s a non-starter.”
However his comments regarding former Tottenham charge Darren Bent are a little less harder to fathom. He states that he has three good strikers but then qualifies the statement with ‘You never know’ which clearly leaves the door open to a possible London return for the 28 year old Aston Villa man.
Fulham have had no problem scoring goals this season, netting 25 times in 15 Premier League matches. However the club still has a minus goal difference that perhaps tells you where Jol should be looking to strengthen next month.
