Anfield side interested in cut-price Ukraine international.
Liverpool could revive their long-standing interest in Artem Milevskiy after Dynamo Kiev made the Ukraine forward available for transfer.
Milevskiy is out of contract next summer and Dynamo are looking to sell him in January to prevent him from leaving for nothing in June.
The 27-year-old will be available for a bargain fee of £1.6m when the window re-opens in January.
If Liverpool, or indeed any club, can pick up a player of Artem Milevskiy’s ability and experience for just £1.6m then whomever does so will have picked up what may be the bargain of the January transfer window. The 27 year old has spent his entire career at Dynamo Kiev but is out of contract this summer and likely to be old in January to avoid the loss of the support striker for nothing.
Milevskiy has won every domestic honour available to him and may well feel this is the right time to move and see how he would fare on a different stage.
Brendan Rodgers may well feel that the Minsk born attacker could act as a very useful player to link midfield and attack. The stylish Dynamo Kiev man operates in the hole behind the striker and could therefore perhaps be seen as a player to support Luis Suarez up front.
Milevskiy has netted 87 goals in 273 appearances for Dynamo Kiev and has 50 national team caps to his name.
