Old Trafford exit on the cards.
Man for no seasons: Nani set to leave United after being omitted from 2013 calendar
Decision to leave the Portuguese winger out has fuelled rumours that an Old Trafford exit is imminent
Manchester United winger Nani is the latest high-profile star to be omitted from an official 2013 calendar – fuelling rumours he could be out the Old Trafford exit door in the New Year.
Mirror Sport exclusively revealed last week how Theo Walcott’s exclusion from Arsenal’s calendar sparked speculation he could leave the club, having failed to sort out a new deal.
And now Nani, who is likely to be out of action until the transfer window opens, is missing from United’s calendar for next year.

Whilst being omitted from a calendar shouldn’t really be enough evidence to fuel speculation of an imminent departure in Nani’s case it is the latest in a long line of reasons to support such a theory. The Portuguese international certainly does seem as though his time at Man United is coming to an end with the Old Trafford side unwilling to meet the 25 year old’s £130k a week wage demands.
Thus far Nani has started just four of the club’s 15 Premier League fixtures and when called upon has looked the shadow of a player that 18 months ago looked as though he had finally emerged from Cristiano Ronaldo’s all encompassing shadow.
The return from injury of Ashley Young, the signing of Shinji Kagawa, the emergence of Danny Welbeck and the excellent form shown by Ecuadorian Luis Antonio Valencia have all played a part in Nani being handed a limited role in Sir Alex Ferguson’s plans.
Also quite simply Nani hasn’t really impressed when called upon this term. The former Sporting Lisbon attacker’s last Premier League start came in late September when Tottenham triumphed at Man United
