Rossoneri are trying to sign Torino player in order to solve defense problems.
It won’t be easy for Arsenal and Manchester United to sign Italian international Angelo Ogbonna. In fact, AC Milan are set to offer £13m for the 24-year-old centre-back, reports teamTALK.
Rossoneri, who are 14 points off top spot in Serie A, have been struggling in defence since Thiago Silva departure to Paris Saint Germain last summer and believe Ogbonna is the ideal replacement for the Brazil international.
The Italy international, who has been capped five times by his country, is the most sought after defender in Serie A following his consistent displays for Torino. Club owner Urbano Cairo hopes Ogbonna will stay until the end of the season, as they want to increase his value and then consider his transfer only when next summer comes around. But something could happen as early as January if a club offers around £15m.
The battle to sign Ogbonna promises to be difficult, with Roma, Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United all lined up and ready to make an offer. However he recently hinted that he would like to join a big club but added that he is in no hurry to leave Torino.
