St James’ Park side make plans to resolve worst case scenario.
ALAN PARDEW is ready to replace wantaway Demba Ba with Ukraine striker Artem Milevskiy.
Newcastle boss Pards has so far failed to talk Ba into signing a long-term deal.
And Toon fear a £7million bid in January, triggering a buy-out clause in the Senegal star’s contract.
But Pards knows Milevskiy, 27, can leave Dynamo Kiev on the cheap. Kiev wanted £14m when Roy Hodgson tried to sign him at Liverpool.
Now his contract is running down and Kiev will take £6m rather than lose him for nothing in the summer.

Newcastle United have been linked with at least a dozen potential Demba Ba replacements and whilst it’s likely most speculation doesn’t have a great deal of basis in fact the nearer we get to January the more worried Alan Pardew will become that he will lose the Senegal international.
When the transfer window re-opens next month the Magpies will no doubt receive countless bids for the in-form forward and it’s likely that the 27 year old will look to secure a move to a club that is more willing to meet his wage demands.
27 year old Milevskiy has spent his entire career at Dynamo Kiev but is out of contract this summer and likely to be old in January to avoid the loss of the support striker for nothing.
Milevskiy has won every domestic honour available to him and may well feel this is the right time to move and see how he would fare on a different stage.
The stylish Dynamo Kiev man operates in the hole behind the striker and could therefore perhaps be seen as a player to support Papiss Cisse up front.
Milevskiy has netted 87 goals in 273 appearances for Dynamo Kiev and has 50 national team caps to his name.
