Goodison Park side look to strengthen squad in January.
Italian source CalcioMercato claim that David Moyes has set his sights on a trio of talented targets who could well be very wise additions to his Goodison Park squad.
The Toffees boss will approach Man City about a potential loan move for former Everton defender Joleon Lescott, who has been frozen out of first team action at the Etihad Stadium following the arrival of young Serbian Matija Nastasi?. A move for the England man will show there are no hard feelings between the Moyes and the experienced centre-back.
David Moyes was none to pleased with the attitude of the former Wolves man prior to his big money move to Man City but realises that a move to sign the 30 year old could greatly improve his defence.
The Everton manager has also set his sights on two in-form Ligue 1 talents.
Moyes hopes to improve his attacking options with a bid for PSG forward Kevin Gameiro, a move that may just tempt the French international as it appears to be playing second fiddle to new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
That said it may be tough to lure the prolific striker away from the Parc des Princes side given the wage packet he is probably receiving and the fact that his side are still in the Champions League.
A more realistic target comes in the form of Toulouse youngster Wissam Ben Yedder. The French Under 21 international has been in fine form thus far this season, netting nine Ligue 1 goals already and this despite the fact that his side are sitting in mid-table.
Given the financial constraints Everton operate within a move for the pint sized forward could be a distinct possibility.
