Liverpool target Arkadiusz Milik is now high on Torino’s wishlist as the Polish youngster’s stock continues to rise.
The youngster is already drawing comparisons with Manchester United target Robert Lewandowski and Bayer Leverkusen are already heavily interested in signing the prospect.
Gornik Zabrze are reluctant to part with their star asset but financial struggles might force them to cash in on the rookie in January.
And it has now emerged that Torino are ready to enter the running for the starlet, who has been tracked by Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.
Teenager Arkadiusz Milik has helped his side mount a genuine Polish title challenge thanks to his consistent form in front of goal, with the 18 year scoring seven goals in 14 matches thus far this season.
That form has led to a national team call-up and a first international goal in what has been something of a breakthrough year for the powerful forward.
A move for Milik would help kill two Liverpool birds with one stone.
Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers has adopted a youthful transfer policy that goes hand in hand with the club’s American owners long term strategy. The Northern Irishman is also desperate for fresh striking options and arguably Milik could achieve both goals.
Currently Liverpool rely too heavily on Uruguayan hot-shot Luis Suarez and whilst Arkadiusz Milk is clearly something of an inexperienced talent he could be a very useful back-up option to call upon as and when needed.
Torino could similarly do with an extra cutting edge up front as Giampiero Ventura’s newly promoted side sit just one point from the Serie A relegation zone and have only managed 17 goals in 16 matches this season.
