Chelsea will battle Manchester City for the signature of Malaga sensation Isco, according to reports from Spain.
The 20-year-old is said to have grown frustrated at the La Liga side and carries a £17million buy-out clause in his contract, which has alerted interest from the Premier League.
Malaga are desperate to keep hold of the exciting player who has already been earmarked as a future regular in the all conquering Spain national team – with reports that they are ready to offer him a a more lucrative contract with a £30million get out clause.
According to AS, Blues owner Roman Abramovich wants to add yet another versatile attacker to his growing squad of flair players at Stamford Bridge and sees Isco as an ideal fit.

Isco is fast becoming one of the most sought after footballers in Europe. The young Spaniard had a standout season last term as he helped Malaga to secure a top four finish in his debut season at La Rosaleda and has gone from strength to strength during the current campaign.
Chelsea will be most impressed by Isco’s displays in the Champions League where the attack minded midfielder helped Malaga to top Group C and finish the stage unbeaten.
The 20 year old could well be seen as an ideal like for like replacement for veteran Frank Lampard and the £17m release clause is clearly one that Roman Abramovich can trigger without too much difficulty, the Russian billionaire did after all fork out £80m plus to bring in a host of young talents including Oscar and Eden Hazard, who have both already made real impacts at the West London club.
