Goodison Park side linked with move for PSG forward they don’t really need.
According to Italian source CalcioMercato Everton have earmarked a move for PSG forward Guillaume Hoarau as David Moyes continues to be linked with moves to improve an attack that seems to be working just fine at present.
Everton are usually not known for their goalscoring exploits but a return of 27 goals in 16 Premier League matches, only four sides have managed more, seems a pretty useful total.
Both Marouane Fellaini and Nikica Jelavic are in form and the support of Kevin Mirallas (now injured) and Steven Naismith has also helped the Goodison Park start the season well so is there a need to bring in attacking alternatives? David Moyes doesn’t usually ‘splash the cash’ unnecessarily.
Guillaume Hoarau is into his fifth season at the Parc des Princes and has seen his first team chances greatly limited by the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the 28 year old has made just one Ligue 1 start thus far this season and may well be open to an exit from the big spending Ligue 1 leaders.
