Loftus Road switch on the cards for Stamford Bridge midfielder.
FRANK LAMPARD is poised to accept Harry Redknapp’s offer of a two-and-a-half year deal if he is snubbed by Chelsea again tomorrow.
Lampard would also be handed the captain’s armband if he agrees to join his uncle at QPR next month. He has not made a final decision about his future, although he has accepted he will not get a new contract from the Blues when his current deal expires in June.

Of all the reported options open to Frank Lampard, should he choose to leave Chelsea, a move to near neighbours QPR will perhaps be the most tempting.
The 34 year old will still feel he is able to cut it at the highest level and may not wish to take up offers from China or the US, which though lucrative could put an end to his national team opportunities.
Clearly the family connection to Harry Redknapp will also be a factor and now that QPR have started to pick up their form and lifted themselves off the bottom of the table, a move to Loftus Road will seem more of a challenge.
Lampard’s first team chances at Chelsea have been severely limited by the arrivals of Eden Hazard and Oscar and the Blues legend will more than likely only be offered a one year extension, if anything, by the West London club as is their policy on players over the age of 30.
The offer of QPR’s captaincy will also be a pull and perhaps a move to the relegation threatened club will seem like the right way to end a glittering Premier League career, especially if he feels he can help the Super Hoops pull off a great escape.
