Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli faces exit after refusing to pay £340,000 fine for poor on-field discipline
Mario Balotelli’s fractious relationship with Manchester City is set to lead to his departure next month after it emerged that the Italian had turned to the Premier League to overturn a £340,000 club fine for repeatedly poor on-field discipline.

In many ways it would be best for all concerned if Mario Balotelli were to leave Man City. The striker has had one to many ‘last chances’ and the youngster’s refusal to pay a fine is probably the final straw.
The undoubtedly talented Italian has far too often been a negative influence at the club and Roberto Mancini’s patience appears to have worn thin once too often.
PSG are apparently interested in the 22 year old and if Mancini can extract a decent sum from the sale of the former Inter Milan man then a January departure is on the cards.
Balotelli may well have begun to become frustrated following his return to the club after a successful Euro 2012 campaign only to find himself down the striking pecking order behind Argentine pair Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez. His form as a result declined and now his presence at Man City may be doing more harm than good.
