Anfield side told to pay up if they want Anderlecht captain.
Check in to Liverpool vs Fulham
Liverpool target Lucas Biglia has been told he can leave Anderlecht if they offer £8.35m.
The Argentine midfielder has long been an Anfield target and was linked with Arsenal in the summer.
And Anderlecht have decided that the 26-year-old can leave, but only if they receive an offer of €10.25m.
“We have not formally received an offer for Lucas but we know that his agent is making moves in the transfer market,”
Anderlecht general manager Herman Van Holsbeeck told calciomercato.com.
“Biglia has two and a half years left on his contract and we would only consider letting him go if we receive an offer of €10.25m. He won’t leave in January for a penny less.”

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers may feel the need to beef up a midfield that has at times proved very ineffective at preventing opposition advances and the Anfield manager has seemingly targeted Anderlecht captain to help steady the ship.
The Argentine international has been quoted as saying that he hopes to leave Anderlecht and has openly discusses the apparent €8m (£6.5m) price-tag on his head.
The 26 year old has spent the last six years with Anderlecht, helping the club to three domestic titles and in the process forcing his way into the national team set-up despite plying his trade in a fairly average league. No doubt Biglia will hope that a high-profile move would further assist his national team ambitions.
Lucas Leiva is feeling his way back after a lengthy injury and Joe Allen hasn’t been a huge success since his summer move to Merseyside and Rodgers would be wise to mount a significant bid for Biglia in January.
