White Hart Lane side to make offer for England international.
Check in to Aston Villa vs Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham are ready to make an £8million bid for Crystal Palace starlet Wilfried Zaha – and spark an auction for his signature writes the Sunday People.
Spurs supremo Daniel Levy has been on Zaha’s trail for months, as Sunday People Sport first revealed, and the shrewd transfer operator will lodge an official offer shortly.
The package would see a guaranteed sum up front of around £6m, plus extras and bonuses, but it falls well short of what Palace dream they will get for the new England cap.

If Tottenham do indeed make an £8m offer you can bet your house that a number of other Premier League sides will similarly make their interest in the Eagles attacker known.
The 20 year old, who’s Championship form has led to an England national team call-up, could well be keen on a move to the Premier League next month and Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway could struggle to retain the services of the speedy forward, who can play either in a wide role or as an orthodox striker.
Even though the Selhurst Park side are riding high in the Championship it could prove tough to retain Zaha and the likes of Arsenal and Man United are also said to be interested in the Ivory Coast born starlet.
Andre Villas-Boas is known for trusting to youth and will hope to beat off interest from other suitors to capture the Crystal Palace man, who already has over 100 first team appearances to his name.
