Loftus Road boss wants Craven Cottage giant.
HARRY REDKNAPP is plotting a move for Fulham linchpin Brede Hangeland when the transfer window opens on New Year’s Day.
Redknapp, who saw his struggling side fall back to the bottom of the Premier League after a 2-1 defeat by West Brom on Boxing Day, is desperate to shore up his leaky defence.

Despite the fact that in recent weeks QPR’s defence has shown signs of improvement Harry Redknapp is right to target a new central defensive capture to help further solidify the club’s leaky back-line.
Brede Hangeland is out of contract in the summer and despite much talk of an intention to see the Norwegian put pen to paper on a new deal Fulham boss Martin Jol still hasn’t managed to get the deal sewn up and as such could be forced into considering offers for the giant defender.
Hangeland is into his sixth season at Craven Cottage and is a player who Fulham greatly rely upon at the back but if the American born central defender feels that QPR want him more than his current employers then perhaps a short move to Loftus Road could be a distinct possibility.
The 31 year old will be looking to QPR to offer him a lengthy deal if he is to consider a move to the relegation threatened side.
