Etihad Stadium boss and young striker come to blows.
Misfit Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli and manager Roberto Mancini were involved in a violent training ground bust-up today.
The City boss was seen to grab, shove and gesticulate wildly at the striker as the pair clashed in front of stunned team-mates at the club’s Carrington base.
The 22-year-old Italian striker was then seen being restrained and led away by a member of staff in shocking scenes as City prepared their FA Cup third round clash with Watford.

Well this may well spell the end of Mario Balotelli’s Man City career. Whatever the reasoning behind the alteraction at the club’s Carrington training ground there seems little chance that the Italian striker will be at the Etihad Stadium club for much longer.
Apparently the training ground bust-up was sparked by a poorly timed tackle from Balotelli and descended into full blown fisticuffs.
The 22 year old hasn’t been able to force his way into the Man City first team all that much this term, accumulating less playing time than Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko and perhaps his frustration at the situation led to his behaviour, behaviour that will surely see the former Inter Milan man leave the Premier League title holders.
