Stamford Bridge side set to snap up yet another Brazilian.
Sky Sports sources understands Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Metalist Kharkiv midfielder Taison, but face competition for his signature from another Premier League club.
Taison revealed earlier this month that he had spoken to Chelseaabout a possible move to the club after making a visit to West London.
The Brazilian joined Metalist two-and-a-half years ago from Internacional, where he played with current Chelsea midfielder Oscar.

Chelsea have been tracking Taison for some weeks and the 24 year old is said to have met with Blues owner Roman Abramovich some weeks ago as part of attempts to lure the Metalist attacker to Stamford Bridge. Now it appears that another Premier League side has taken an interest in the pint sized flair player.
As well as joining friend Oscar at Chelsea he will join fellow Brazilians David Luiz, Ramires and Lucas Piazon at the Premier League club.
Taison is into his third season at Ukraine side Metalist Kharkiv and has been a massive success, scoring and assisting regularly and would certainly be interested in a move to the Premier League side.
The adaptable attacker can play in an advanced central midfield role as well as on the flanks and was considered a very exciting talent whilst at Internacional prior to his move to Ukraine.
Chelsea will have to hope an application for a work permit for the 24 year old will succeed, a move that could be somewhat complicated by the fact Taison hasn’t been capped at senior level by Brazil.
Moves to capture Taison may well have been re-doubled once Daniel Sturridge had completed his move to Liverpool.
