Stamford Bridge side given ultimatum.
Chelsea risk losing January target Taison after his club Matalist Kharkiv set a deadline of Wednesday for the deal to be completed.
The clubs are still negotiating a transfer fee for the Brazilian midfielder, but Chelsea have been dragging their heels.
Metalist have become increasingly frustrated by Chelsea’s failure to come up with the £11m transfer fee for the attacking midfielder.

In today’s transfer market £11m seems a fair price to pay for a player of Taison’s obvious potential and ability and clearly Blues owner Roman Abramovich has never had much of an issue when it comes to spending sums to improve his Chelsea squad.
Taison has already made efforts to secure a move to the UK by employing a specialist London law firm to use a loophole in the system to secure his future in England. This is perhaps important given that without a national team cap to his name the small matter of getting hold of a work permit is significantly tougher.
At Chelsea he will join fellow Brazilians Oscar, David Luiz, Ramires and Lucas Piazon at the Premier League club.
Taison is into his third season at Ukraine side Metalist Kharkiv and has been a massive success, scoring and assisting regularly and would certainly be interested in a move to the Premier League side.
Moves to capture Taison may well have been re-doubled once Daniel Sturridge had completed his move to Liverpool.
