Anfield loanee could be set for Bundesliga return.
Borussia Dortmund will offer Nuri Sahin a route back to the Bundesliga this month after reacting to a signal that Liverpool want to cut short the Real Madrid midfielder’s season-long loan at Anfield.
After returning Joe Cole to his former club West Ham, Liverpool now want to further trim their wage bill by offloading Sahin, following a disappointing first half to his temporary stay on Merseyside.
Dortmund would first have to find a way of financing earnings of around £70,000 a week, but they are ready to act after coach Jurgen Klopp made it clear he wanted the 24-year-old back in his midfield.

Turkish international Nuri Sahin arrived with something of a fanfare when Liverpool completed something of a coup to bring the Real Madrid man to Anfield but all in all the midfielder hasn’t made that great an impact at the Merseyside club.
Though the 24 year old put in a couple of decent displays he was then ruled out with injury and is now fighting for a spot back in Brendan Rodgers’ fast improving starting eleven set-up. The option to return to Westfalenstadion will surely tempt the former Borussia Dortmund man and it would appear that Jurgen Klopp is interested in just such a deal.
One wonders if a move would be a permanent one as Sahin will find it even tougher to force his way into Jose Mourinho’s first team picture given that Luka Modric has arrived at the Bernabeu to provide yet another obstacle to Sahin’s progress at the La Liga giants.
