White Hart Lane side keen on Moroccan international.
TOTTENHAM are set to launch a late bid to snatch Montpellier star Younes Belhanda.
The 22-year-old had been widely reported to be on the verge of a move to Fenerbache, with the Turkish side confirming their interest in the midfielder.
But despite Belhanda agreeing terms with the club, Fenerbache have so far been unable to match Montpellier’s £9.8m asking price, reports French radio station RMC.

Andre Villas-Boas may well feel that at the half-way point in the Premier League season he could still do with some added creativity to help in his push to secure that all important Champions League berth for his North London side.
Tottenham lost Luka Modric and Rafael Van der Vaart to Real Madrid and Hamburg respectively and have arguably not adequately replaced them and the pursuit of a player like Belhanda would certainly be a move in the right direction.
Belhandam was voted Ligue 1’s Young Player of the Year last term as he helped Montpellier to a maiden Ligue 1 title and has continued to impress this term even if his side are no longer able to keep up with the French top tier front runners.
The playmaker, who can play across the midfield and out on the flanks, has scored six goals in 17 games this term.
The Moroccan could join German international Lewis Holtby at White Hart Lane with the Schalke man having already agreed personal terms ahead of a free transfer to Tottenham in the summer.
