£6million price slapped on head of young St Andrew’s winger.
Newcastle United, West Brom and Fulham have been told they will have to cough up £6million if they want to prize young winger Nathan Redmond away from Birmingham City.
The Blues have fielded enquiries about the availability of the 18-year-old winger from the Premier League trio during the January transfer window and have told them to meet the asking price if they want permission to speak to him.
England under-19 international Redmond is one of the best young players in the Championship having made his Birmingham debut as a 16-year-old. He has made 64 appearances for the club in total, scoring seven times, and has been watched by Premier League scouts all season.

Birmingham are also likely to lose England goalkeeper Jack Butland during the January transfer window with Fulham joining Liverpool, Everton and Southampton in the race for his signature. The 19-year-old is also likely to go for £6million.
Birmingham are looking to raise funds to stave off the threat of administration with no owner in place and the club feeling the financial strain of life outside of the Premier League following relegation in 2011.
