Veteran Frenchman William Gallas a Loftus Road target.
Tottenham defender William Gallas has been added to QPR manager Harry Redknapp’s wanted list of men that can save the club from relegation from the Premier League.
Gallas played under Redknapp at Tottenham having been signed on a free transfer from bitter rivals Arsenal, the QPR boss has turned his attentions to the Frenchman after missing on Joleon Lescott and losing Ryan Nelson following his appointment as coach of Toronto FC.

And the 35-year-old French international, who won the Premier League twice as a Chelsea player, has been a first-team regular at White Hart Lane ever since making the switch across north London in 2010.
Despite Redknapp’s departure from the Tottenham hot-seat in the summer and the subsequent arrival of Andre Villas-Boas as manager, Gallas was first choice at the heart of defence and named captain until a calf injury picked up on Boxing Day left him on the sidelines.
But he is out of contract in the summer and with no offer yet on the table from Tottenham, he could yet be allowed to leave the club in the January transfer window with Michael Dawson back to form and Steven Caulker and Jan Vertonghen providing other options at centre-back.
The club’s other central defender Younes Kaboul, who started the season alongside Gallas, is ruled out with injury and will not play again this season, and his continued absence could be the only stumbling block to Redknapp’s transfer swoop.
