Chris Hughton looks to bring duo to Carrow Road?
Norwich City are tracking Celtic striker Gary Hooper and Hamburg midfielder Per Ciljan Skjelbred and could make moves for the pair this month.
Carrow Road boss Chris Hughton is looking to strengthen his squad this month as Norwich look to build on a solid first half of the season and pass the all-important 40-point safety marker and retain their Premier League status.
And the focus of attention is on 24-year-old Hooper, who has played in the Championship and in the Scottish Premier League but never the English top-flight, and 25-year-old Skjelbred, who first caught Hughton’s eye when he was in charge at Newcastle but chose to move to Hamburg from Rosenberg.

Hooper has significantly turned down a new deal at Celtic, where he has been a huge hit since moving from Scunthorpe, and is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League. According to The Mirror, Norwich are ready to offer him £30,000 a year to secure his signature.
Skjelbred, who has been capped 16 times by Norway, formed a midfield partnership with Norwich’s Alex Tettey during the pair’s time together and Hughton could be prepared to put the two back together.
