Kim-Shin Wook linked with move to Goodison Park.
Everton’s search for new additions in the January transfer window could result in the signing of Kim-Shin Wook – South Korea’s answer to Peter Crouch.
Giant forward Kim-Shin Wook measures in at 6ft 5in and is regarded as one of South Korea’s leading players and one of the stars of the K-League where he has lead the line for Ulsan Hyundai for the past four seasons.
The 24-year-old helped the club land the AFC Champions League last year and has a decent goalscoring record having found the net 61 times in 159 appearances in the K-League.
Everton’s scouts have watched the man known as “Our Giant” by the Ulsan Hyundai and talks could open up over a transfer to the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.
Everton manager David Moyes has been linked with an array of targets during the opening two weeks of the January transfer window including Wigan midfielder James McCarthy, Dutch defender Virgil Van Dijk, Birmingham goalkeeper Jack Butland, Real Madrid’s Pedro Leon and Atalanta winger Matias Schelotto.
He has also fighting to hold onto goalscoring midfielder Marouane Fellaini with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United interested in signing the Belgian international, who has a £22million release clause in his contract.
