Belgian midfielder set for switch to Craven Cottage.
Fulham are trying to sign teenage sensation Junior Malanda from Zulte Waregem in Belgium, but have been told they will need to meet the £4million asking price to capture the 18-year-old.
The young midfielder, who has been capped by Belgium at under-19 level, has caught the attention of a number of Premier League scouts this season with his performances in the Belgium top flight after breaking into the Zulte Waregem first team.
His 18 performances and one goal has resulted in interest from Belgian rivals Club Brugge, Genk and Anderlecht, Dutch sides Ajax and FC Twente, Italians Udinese and Premier League Tottenham, Newcastle United, Everton and Fulham.

Fulham has jumped to the head of the queue having placed two offers for Malanda, who can also play in defence, but will have to up their offer to the £4million Zulte Waregem want if they are to confirm him as a Craven Cottage new-boy.
Malanda’s team-mate Habib Habibou could also be on his way to England following trial spells with QPR and Championship side Leeds United. Both are considering summer moves for the 25-year-old striker, who hails from the Central African Republic but has a French passport.
