Old Trafford boss pushes on with push for Crystal Palace attacker.
Man United are ready to sweeten any deal to sign Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha by offering Crystal Palace a player as part of any deal to capture the England man according to the Daily Star.
Sir Alex Ferguson fears Arsenal may win the race to snap up the young Championship star and is therefore ready to make concessions to persuade good friend Ian Holloway to accept his advances.
The Man United boss is unwilling to meet the Eagles £16m valuation but will allow Zaha to see out the current campaign in a loan return that may well appeal to Holloway, who is hoping the 20 year old can help his side’s Premier League promotion push.
Ferguson will also offer striker Federico Macheda in part exchange for Zaha, another option that could tempt Crystal Palace into selling their prized asset this month.
Zaha has been in excellent form over the past 18 months and already has over 100 appearances to his name and won his first senior England cap last month.
