Emirates Stadium side to make move to capture Bernabeu playmaker.
According to Fanatix Arsenal are looking to make the most of Real Madrid’s cost cutting drive by preparing a move to sign Brazilian midfielder Kaka.
The 30 year old former AC Milan man is something of a bit part player at the Bernabeu but nonetheless it would be something of a coup if Arsene Wenger could lure the playmaker to the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea vs Arsenal tickets still available
Arsene Wenger is apparently keen to bring in a big signing in order to appease unhappy Arsenal fans, disillusioned after years of under investment in their squad leading to an inevitable silverware drought.
Arsenal have a number of creative midfield options but perhaps Wenger feels that Kaka offers an extra goal-scoring option and though Kaka’s wage expectations could be an issue, this could be offset by the fact that Wenger may be able to pick up the former World Footballer of the Year for a sum far less than the huge sum Real Madrid forked out for the flair player when his career was on the up.
A move to the Premier League may tempt Kaka, who could be looking for a fresh challenge. The Real Madrid man also feel he has more of a chance of securing regular football at the Emirates Stadium than at the Bernabeu, where he battles Mesut Ozil, Angel Di Maria and Luka Modric for a spot in Jose Mourinho’s side.
