Stamford Bridge side alerted by possible availability of former World Footballer of the Year.
Chelsea are said to have been alerted by the possible sale of Real Madrid playmaker Kaka according to the Daily Express.
The Brazilian is set to be released by the Bernabeu club on a free transfer which could certainly lead to a great deal of interest in the 30 year old former World Footballer of the Year.
Chelsea vs Arsenal tickets still available
The former AC Milan man has become something of a bit-part player under manager Jose Mourinho, who does not appear to see him as part of his first-team plans.
This source states that both PSG and AC Milan have been sounded out over the possibility of the midfielder’s imminent availability but both sides are unwilling to foot the player’s massive salary demands.
Roman Abramovich may well feel that he could do with bringing in a ‘marquee’ signing to appease fans who will have been disappointed by their side’s inability to mount a genuine Premier League title challenge as well as being dumped out of the Champions League at the first hurdle.
Kaka may well be tempted by the chance of a move to Stamford Bridge, not least because he would link up with national team colleagues David Luiz, Ramires and Oscar.
Kaka has started just four of Real Madrid’s 32 games in all competitions this term.
