Defender to leave Craven Cottage for Turkey?
Fulham defender John Arne Riise could be on his way out of Craven Cottage this month after Turkish giants Galatasaray expressed an interest in signing him.
The 32-year-old Norwegian international has fallen out of favour with Fulham manager Martin Jol after being dropped to the substitute’s bench during the busy Christmas programme, and will be allowed to leave if the right offer comes in.

And, according to the Daily Mail, Galatasaray are the first club to express an interest in signing Riise, who has played 108 times for Norway and represented Monaco, Liverpool and Roma for the majority of his career.
Fulham, who have already sold right-back Stephen Kelly to Premier League rivals Reading in this transfer window, have been linked with a move for Aston Villa’s out of favour full-back Stephen Warnock to replace Riise.
Former England international Warnock has not played for Aston Villa since the arrival of Paul Lambert as manager in the summer and is currently training with the reserves following a loan spell at Championship side Bolton.
Fulham have also been linked with a move for young Barnsley defender John Stones, who will cost around £2million, with Sunderland also tracking the youngster.
