Brazilian will now be a summer target for White Hart Lane move.
Tottenham have put their bid to sign Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao on hold until the summer after being unable to finalise details of an £18million transfer, according to The Independent.

Leandro has been manager Andre Villa-Boas’ transfer target on deadline day, but Tottenham have been unable to reach an agreement with Internacional over the deal and they will now try again in the summer.
Villas-Boas made his move after being left with only one striker at his disposal in the shape of Jermaine Defoe with Emmanuel Adebayor on international duty with Togo at the African Nations Cup.
He has been a fan of Leandro since watching the 23-year-old in action for Brazil at the London Olympics, in which he was the tournament’s top scorer, and had initially tried to do a deal shortly after taking over from Harry Redknapp in the White Hart Lane hot seat.
But, according to The Independent, Brazilian newspaper Globo Esporte is reporting that the deal cannot be completed in time to meet the transfer deadline.
Villas-Boas has brought two new faces into the club this month with the capture of former Manchester United defender Zeki Fryers from Standard Liege and German under-21 captain Lewis Holtby from Schalke.
