Italian source TuttoMercato claim that Bayern Munich have agreed a deal that will see Borussia Dortmund move to the Allianz Arena in the summer to become Pep Guardiola’s first signing as the boss of the Bavarian side.

The 24 year old will make a £18m move to the Bundesliga leaders despite apparent interest from Man United and other interested parties.

The Polish international has been in fine form over the past 18 months, scoring 30 goals last term to help Jurgen Klopp’s side to a domestic double and another 19 in 29 appearances thus far this term.

Lewandowski has seen his Dortmund side fall way off the pace and now sit some 12 points off the top spot and in real danger of losing the Bundesliga title they have won in both of the last two seasons.

Such a move will leave Bayern Munich with a surfeit of centre forwards, summer signing Mario Mandzukic’s form this season has seen previously injured German striker Mario Gomez consigned to the bench and the arrival of Lewandowski would surely lead to one of the pair being sold.
