Goodison Park side keen on Etihad Stadium defender.
Everton are ready to make a move for Man City defender Joleon Lescott according to TransferMarketWeb.
fanatix tickets – Manchester City vs Chelsea tickets are on sale from £48 for the match on February 24th at the Etihad Stadium
David Moyes is apparently set to make an offer for the England man, who is apparently set for an Etihad Stadium exit this summer.
Though Lescott played a prominent role in Man City’s Premier League title success the signing of young Serbian Matija Nastasic is an indication that Roberto Mancini is ready to limit the 30 year old’s involvement in the first team set-up.
Kolo Toure is still at the club and could be deemed a possible back-up option to a first choice pairing of Vincent Kompany and Nastasic, this would leave Man City able to listen to offers for Lescott.
Everton are unlikely to offer anywhere near the £22m they received for Lescott in August 2009 but it does appear that any personal issues between Moyes and Lescott have been resolved, the pair had fallen out over the former Wolves defender’s move to Man City.
