With the likes of David Moyes, Jose Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini also on the list it seems that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has a host of names on his wish-list but apparently Klopp leads the chase to take over from Rafa Benitez, who is not expected to be offered a new contract after his interim position comes to a close at the end of the season.
45 year old Klopp reportedly turned down a Chelsea approach last summer but with his side likely to lose their grip on the Bundesliga title it seems likely he would be more amenable to the idea of a move to the Premier League side this time around.
