A collection of potential targets who could greatly aid the Emirates Stadium side’s push for a Premier League title.
5. Stevan Jovetic (Fiorentina)
Linked with a move for Stevan Jovetic in the January transfer window, manager Arsene Wenger should be making the Montenegro international forward a priority signing in the summer when he is due to significantly strengthen his Arsenal side.
fanatix tickets – Barclays Premier League tickets are still available for next weekend’s games.Sunderland vs Arsenal tickets are on sale from £23 for this Saturday’s match at the Stadium of Light.
Jovetic is the type of versatile players that Wenger loves to sign with the highly-regarded 23-year-old comfortable playing behind a frontman, at the tip of a midfield diamond or in one of the wider attacking positions.
He would be an ideal capture for the Emirates Stadium club to add some flair and goals with his record at both Partizan, where he came through the ranks as a young talent and became the club’s youngster ever captain, and at Serie A side Fiorentina, where he has been since 2008 when he joined in an £8million deal, yielding a goal every three or four games.
He should contribute a double figure total of goals each season and, although he would be a fairly costly addition in Arsenal terms, Jovetic can certainly provide something that Wenger’s side could benefit from.
