Montenegro striker tops Emirates Stadium shopping list.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has put £25million Stevan Jovetic to the top of his summer shopping list after abandoning plans to sign David Villa from Barcelona.

Wenger was hoping to bring Spanish international Villa to the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window, but was unable to do a deal with Barcelona reluctant to allow the World Cup winner to leave the Nou Camp.
And, according to the Daily Mail, the Arsenal boss has now turned his attentions to signing Fiorentina’s star striker Jovetic, who is valued at around the £25million mark by the Serie A club, after shelving his chase of Villa.
The only stumbling block to the move would be the price with Wenger not having splashed out more than £15million for a player – that being the fee he paid to bring midfielder Andre Arshavin to the club.
But he has had some positive scouting reports on the 23-year-old Montenegro international marksman, who joined Fiorentina in a £8million deal in 2008. He has caught the eye for his country too, netting 10 times in 21 caps.
Wenger’s scouting reports have likened Jovetic to former Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie, who was sold to Manchester United before the start of the current season.
