Twenty deals we believe have a decent chance of occurring during the summer transfer window.
20. Andy Carroll to Newcastle
West Ham may have an agreement to sign Andy Caroll when his season-long loan at Upton Park expires, but there is no guarantee that Liverpool’s £33million man will want to make a permanent switch.
Instead, he could well be heading back to hometown club Newcastle United who are keen to have the 24-year-old England international targetman back in the fold two years after selling him to Anfield. He will return at a much cheaper price too.
19. Neilton to Chelsea
Branded the new Neymar – which seems a bit of a contradiction when the original one is only 21 and still making his name in the game – Neilton has been linked with a £5million switch to Chelsea in the summer.
The talented 19-year-old could join a Brazilian contingent at Stamford Bridge that already includes David Luiz, Ramires and Oscar as well as Lucas Piazon who is currently on loan in La Liga. He would be a very cheap purchase in the present transfer climate because of a £5million buy-out clause.
