Stamford Bridge side keen on Hamburg forward.

Check in to Manchester City vs Chelsea

Chelsea are reportedly in pole position to sign in-form Bundesliga striker Heung-Min Son according to the Sunday People.

The West London side are said to be ahead of fellow Premier League sides Liverpool and Tottenham in the pursuit of the 20 year old South Korean international who has attracted a great deal of attention this term with some consistent displays for his Hamburg side.

Heung Min-Son has netted nine goals in 20 appearances thus far this term and managed a brace away at reigning champions Borussia Dortmund this weekend, further strengthening his claim as one of the best young talents in the German top tier.

Roman Abramovich may well be keen to strengthen his attack, not least because Fernando Torres continues to labour up front without success.

Though Demba Ba came in from Newcastle United in January the Stamford Bridge side did also sell Daniel Sturridge to Liverpool so there is certainly space to fill, especially with Romelu Lukaku’s Chelsea future somewhat unclear given that the Belgian was sent out to West Brom on a season long loan spell after a shaky first campaign at the Stamford Bridge.
