Icelandic striker want Old Trafford switch.
Icelandic international forward Alfred Finnbogason has admitted that his dream is to move to Man United according to talkSPORT.
fanatix tickets- Sunderland vs Manchester United tickets are on sale from £27 for the match on March 30th at the Stadium of Light.
The 24 year old Heerenveen striker has been scoring with alarming regularity since his move to the Dutch top tier last summer and has been strongly linked with interest from Aston Villa but the former Helsingborg star has set his sights even higher.
“My biggest dream is to one day become a Manchester United player,”
“This is the club I have been a fan of since I was five years old. I’m still a big fan of United.”
Finnbogason scored twice on his debut against Ajax and hasn’t looked back since, netting 16 goals in 14 league appearances this season, a total that is all the more impressive when you consider Heerenveen sit in 13th spot in the table, just three points from the drop zone.
However it seems unlikely Sir Alex Ferguson is going to be making a move for the young striker anytime soon given he has the likes of Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck in his Old Trafford armoury.
