9. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Saint-Etienne)
St Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the subject of strong speculation over a move to the Premier League in January but the rumours failed to materialise into anything.
It was Newcastle United who were strongly mentioned as potential suitors although in the end in opted for five-other French-based players. They are still in need of a new striker and have, however, been linked with a summer swoop for the Gabon international once again.
Aubameyang, known as the King of Bling due to his diamond encrusted boots, has also caught the eye of both Manchester City and Manchester United so looks destined to become a Premier League player.
