White Hart Lane star wanted by new Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola.
Bayern Munich are preparing a £50million bid for Gareth Bale with new boss Pep Guardiola wanting to make the Tottenham star his first signing in the summer.
fanatix tickets – West Ham vs Tottenham tickets are on sale from £67 for the match on February 25th at Upton Park.
Guardiola will take over at Bayern Munich, who lead the Bundesliga by 18 points, in the summer and has been given a £100 transfer budget to spend when he takes over at the end of the current season.
And, according to the Daily Mail, the former Barcelona coach is set to spend half of his transfer kitty on the in-form Bale, who is also wanted by Real Madrid and who also has been linked with a possible switch to Manchester United.
Bale has single-handedly kept Tottenham in the hunt for Champions League qualification in recent weeks since moving into a central role, but has consistently played down speculation about his future at White Hart Lane.
It was understood that Real Madrid were hot favourites to capture the 23-year-old Welsh international as coach Mourinho looks to bounce back from a dismal La Liga season at the Bernabeu this year.
But Guardiola’s interest complicates matters with Bayern set to be a dominant force in European football once again as the Spanish coach looks to recreate his run of success at Barcelona in the Bundesliga.
And he wants to build a team around Bale, who would be a likely replacement for the ageing Arjen Robben at Bayern Munich.
