Emirates Stadium boss may be out if Bayern Munich triumph against North London club.
Arsenal have set their sights on Everton boss David Moyes with Arsene Wenger’s position as Gunners boss said to be close to untenable according to the Metro.
Wenger is apparently considering his position at the Emirates Stadium and could apparently quit before he is axed according to this source. The embarrassing home defeat to Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup this weekend has left the Frenchman’s future at the North London club in doubt.
With this in mind Scot David Moyes is now the favourite to take over at Arsenal no doubt interest that has been increased after the 49-year-old stated his intention to wait until the summer before deciding whether to extend his 11-year tenure at Goodison Park or pursue a new challenge.
Arsenal sit in fifth spot in the Premier League in what has thus far been the worst top tier campaign under Wenger and if they fail to overcome Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich it will represent eight seasons without silverware.
