Barcelona wing-back Dani Alves has claimed today that much sought after Brazilian international Neymar has already agreed a deal that will bring him to the Nou Camp.

Mundo Deportivo quoted Alves as revealing that a move was scheduled to take place in 2014 but urges the youngster to make the move earlier, stating;

“He [Neymar] knows the situation and the agreement he has, which is to come here later on,”

“But, if I were him, I would come now to improve his tactical game in order to arrive at the 2014 World Cup in good shape. Apart from this, he would be arriving at a team that’s well suited to his abilities.

“I have told him everything. He already knows what we have here because he has already got me to pass on all the details. However, I cannot pick him up and bring him here. If not, I would have done. It’s his decision.”

Neymar has been strongly linked with a move to join Barcelona with Man City also taking a real interest in the Santos forward.

A move to Europe is inevitable but many had expected such a deal to go through following the 2014 World Cup but Dani Alves appears keen to see his fellow Brazilian move to Barcelona sooner rather than later.

Neymar has netted 129 goals in 209 appearances for Santos and has 27 national team caps, and 17 goals, to his name.
