The La Liga champions elect are considering cashing in on Valdes at the end of the season rather than lose him on a free transfer 12 months later, and the Spanish international is interesting Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.
As a result, Barcelona are scouring Europe and have added Tottenham’s French international to their list of possible replacements alongside Liverpool’s Pepe Reina, Manchester United’s David De Gea and Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea’s young Belgian star who is on loan at Atletico Madrid this season.
Lloris only move to Tottenham in the summer when joining in an £8million deal from Ligue 1 Lyon. After having to wait for his chance in the first-team with Brad Friedel the preferred choice at the start of the season, Lloris has made the number one shirt his own and helped Tottenham into third place in the Premier League and on the verge of a return to Champions League football next season.
But despite the prospect of being back in the Champions League, Tottenham are facing up to the break up of their squad with Gareth Bale and Kyle Walker wanted by Real Madrid and now Lloris a target of Barcelona.
