Man United are ready to revive their interest in Colombian winger James Rodriguez according to talkSPORT.

The Old Trafford side sent scouts to watch the 21 year old FC Porto winger as he helped his side overcome Beira-Mar 2-0.

Sir Alex Ferguson may well see the young wide-man as a logical replacement for Nani, with the Portuguese international strongly linked with a Man United exit. Indeed the Premier League table toppers could well do with goal-scoring options out wide given that neither Luis Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young have managed to net a single goal in Premier League football this term.

Juventus are also said to be tracking Rodriguez, who helped FC Porto to domestic titles in his first two seasons at the Estadio Dragao.

Rodriguez has scored 28 goals in 91 appearances for the reigning Primeira Liga title holders. and has impressed greatly with his national team where he has become the chief provider for compatriot Radamel Falcao, who also made his name with FC Porto.

The player has a reported £38m release clause and that may prove a price that Man United may be willing to pay this summer.
