Brazilian star in no rush for European move.

Check in to Manchester United vs Real Madrid

Brazilian sensation Neymar is happy to remain at current club Santos according to Sky Sports.

The wonderkid has been attracting attention from a host of the world’s biggest names following some scintillating performances for Santos and the Brazilian national team.

Barcelona have been strongly linked with the player, who is thought to prefer a move to La Liga, and were suggested in recent days to have made a firm approach to Santos. The club’s Brazilian right-back Daniel Alves also urged the youngster to join him at the Nou Camp.

However, there is a lot of enthusiasm from authorities in Brazil to ensure Neymar remains playing in the domestic leagues at least until the World Cup arrives in the summer of 2014.

The player sounds happy to oblige, and is seemingly in no rush to make a big money to European shores.

‘I’ve said it before, if I feel this is the right moment to leave, then why not? They say that I’ll leave Santos, that I won’t, but I have to stay calm.

‘People make many false stories but I’m happy at Santos, trying to help my team the best way I can. I hope to win games again.

‘There is no contract [with Barcelona], that’s not true. Daniel Alves is a big friend but if I say Messi will join Santos, will you believe it? I thank Daniel Alves for what he said but I’m happy here.’
