Big spending Paris Saint Germain are looking to bring French international winger Samir Nasri back home for £15 million, TalkSport understands.

The 25-year-old has not hit the form expected of him consistently enough since his move £25 million pound move from Arsenal in 2011 and he has found himself the subject of much public criticism from his manager, Roberto Mancini. A move which shocked and angered the player.

PSG’s sporting director, Leonardo, is a known admirer of Nasri and even attempted to bring him to the French capital when he left Arsenal two years ago, but things were different in Paris then and the lure of a title push and Champions League football were too great to turn down.

Now, though, the Parisians will have no problem matching the reported £170,000 a week that Nasri earns at City and with them currently heading up Ligue 1 they will be able to offer Champions League football again next season.

Nasri is said to be ‘more than open’ to a move, despite his agent, Jean-Pierre Bernes recently claiming that he would stay and fight for his place, but with City keen to lower their wage bill a move could seem likely. However, any move could also hinge on the future of Roberto Mancini whose future is now in the balance after a disappointing campaign that has seen them surrender the title to Manchester United already and bow out of the Champions League at the group stage.
