Everton are preparing themselves for the double blow of losing Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini this summer according to The Metro.

The Goodison side are bracing themselves for big money bids for the two players who have been in fine form for Everton this year.

Full-back Leighton Baines has now firmly established as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League. The player has been solid at the back but has also added some penetrating crosses to his bow.

The player has been suggested by some to be surpassing his England rival Ashley Cole in terms of ability and that is attracting the interest of some of Europe’s top clubs.

Manchester United are reportedly considering Baines as a possible replacement for the ageing Patrice Evra while Bayern Munich are also thought to be making a bid for the player.

Belgian midfielder outraged boss David Moyes when he expressed his desire to leave the club in the coming year and it looks like Fellaini will now be granted his wish.

The towering player has hit the back of the next twelve times this season from the Everton midfield and Chelsea are thought to be preparing a £25 million bid for the player.
