Brazilian striker, Hulk, is hoping that Italian side Inter Milan will swoop in to end his turbulent spell at Zenit St Petersburg this summer.

In an interview with Gazzetta Dello Sport recently, the £34 million man expressed his admiration for Serie A and he is now thought to be open to a move.

Hulk has so far failed to live up to expectation following his big money move last year, so far netting just four times in 14 appearances. The language barrier has also seen him unable to develop a relationship with Zenit’s fans and tensions have recently arose between him and manager Luciano Spalleti.

“In Italy Milan and Inter have some great players, tradition and history. I watch them every now and then,” he said, “Serie A is a great League – I have many friends at Inter like Guarin and Alvaro Pereira.”

Many questioned the move to Zenit and it now appears that he has seen the error of his ways as he looks to switch to a league more suited to his lifestyle as well as his playing style.

Inter could be compelled to make a move for the 26-year-old as they are stuttering through a disappointing campaign of their own – currently sitting in 6th place, but Hulk won’t come cheap so any move is likely to have to be funded by the sales of their current squad.
