Unwanted Barcelona Attacker Advised to Make ‘Ideal’ Move to Join Arsenal This Summer

Nou Camp target would fit well with Emirates Stadium side’s style of play.

Arsenal are ready to make an offer for Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez after being informed that the Nou Camp side are to make the Chilean available for sale this summer.

The North London club are one of many tracking the 24 year old according to the Daily Mail and the attacker’s former employers Udinese appear to believe a move to the North London club would be ideal for the Barcelona man.

Sanchez’s former Udinese sporting director Udinese Fabrizio Larini stated;

‘Sanchez needs to play the ball on the ground, just like Arsenal. That would be his ideal game.
‘I do not know his current situation at the Spanish club. But his fitness problems have definitely limited his performances.
‘The only thing that these teams will have to consider is that he is a player who needs freedom to play his way. In teams that have particularly rigid patterns of play he might have a few problems.’

Sanchez has netted just two goals in 20 La Liga appearances this season and with another of Arsenal’s targets, David Villa, set to be offered a new Barcelona deal it seems likely that the speedy South American will be offloaded this summer.

Arsene Wenger may feel that Sanchez’s style of play suits the way Arsenal play but will be aware that any move for the one time River Plate man will have to entail the Emirates Stadium side smashing their transfer record.

The Arsenal boss will surely be looking to strengthen an attack that relies heavily on French forward Olivier Giroud and the fact that Sanchez can play out wide as well as up front will further tempt Wenger.
