Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain are both reported to be ready to offer big money to land the 18-year-old, but he is apparently not interested.
The French under-21 international had been scouted by Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham before deciding on a move to Milan from Caen last summer. Arsenal are said to have made him an offer, but the Italian giants managed to persuade him otherwise, despite him claiming Thierry Henry as his idol.
“There is only Milan for me. Yes, I was born in Paris and I like Paris Saint-Germain, but I want to win everything here, starting from the Champions League,” Niang said of the speculation, “Milan are a great club and I love many things about them. Everyone here helps you out. I need to learn a lot from the coach and his staff.”
So far this season Niang has made 19 appearances, mostly from the bench, and has scored just once in a Copa Italia tie against Reggina last December. He has been praised for his bit part roles, though, his size and pace have caused Serie A defenders problems and he is already showing signs of a strong understanding with fellow young forwards Mario Balotelli and Stephan El Shaarawy.
