San Side keen on in-form Villa Park forward.
Inter Milan are eyeing up a summer move for in-form Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke according to the Daily Express.
The San Siro side are on the look-out for fresh attacking options and appear ready to sell Antonio Cassano in the summer and have earmarked a move for Belgian Benteke, who has a £17m price-tag after an impressive season with the Villa Park side.
Benteke cost Paul Lambert £7m and has been one of the few successes of an otherwise disappointing campaign, netting 17 goals in all competitions following his move from Racing Genk in the summer.
A move to join the Serie A giants may well tempt the 22 year old, perhaps even more so if the Midlands side fail to beat the drop.
Andrea Stramaccioni’s Nerazzurri side are struggling for form this term, sitting in sixth spot and face a struggle to secure even a Europa League berth this term.
Inter Milan are seemingly keen to refresh their squad, which has an aging feel to it, and a move for Benteke may just bear fruit.
